Alaska Commission on Aging, Division of Senior Services - The mission of the Alaska Commission on Aging is to promote the dignity and independence of senior Alaskans, and to assist them in leading useful and meaningful lives. Visit this site to learn about the Commission's responsibilities and activities as well as gain access to the other programs housed under the Senior Services umbrella.

Older Persons Action Group (OPAG) - In addition to providing senior employment and computer skills classes in the Anchorage area, OPAG publishes the Senior Voice. Now in its 21st year, the award winning monthly statewide newspaper highlights issues and concerns to older Alaskans. A yearly subscription is $12; for low income and persons over age 75, the publication is free. In the Anchorage area, you can subscribe by calling (907) 277-0787. The rest of Alaska can call 1-800-478-1059. (Note! OPAG does not have a website at this time.)
